3M webinar: Why starting ICD-10 education now is critical to your success

Meeting Description:

Join our free interactive webinar to learn why starting ICD-10 education now is critical to your success.  Learn directly from 3M experts how and when to roll out your ICD-10 training program to efficiently prepare your teams for a successful implementation.

We’ll take a close look at the 3M™ ICD-10 Education Program,  showing highlights from 22 modules for inpatient, outpatient and professional fee coders and documentation improvement specialists, plus a preview of new physician modules that address physician ICD-10 readiness by medical specialty.

Your organization faces the challenge of training your teams on ICD-10 at various levels and in context with their specific jobs. Coders need a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology to code as thoroughly as possible in ICD-10 to reflect the patient's severity of illness, support accurate reimbursement, and relay outcomes. CDI specialists must be ready and able to query physicians for this increased specificity. As for physicians, coding, reimbursement, and quality reporting under ICD-10 all depend on the accuracy of physician documentation.

3M can help your teams build competency and confidence well in advance of ICD-10 implementation.

The 3M ICD-10 Education Program leverages nearly 30 years of 3M coding experience and knowledge gained from more than 1,500 3M clinical documentation improvement consulting engagements. The program offers self-testing tools and advanced reporting features so ICD-10 steering committees and transition leaders can measure staff progress over time.  It is delivered over the Web so that it can be easily accessed and reviewed as frequently as needed.

Will you be ready for ICD-10? You can leverage 3M’s clinical coding experience to help you train and prepare your staff and physicians to thrive under ICD-10. Join us for this free webinar to learn more.
