Adam Kay, Partner

Adam is a partner in the Transactions Tax Department of the London office. Although he advises on all direct tax matters, he has particular expertise in advising UK and non-UK companies.
 
Adam carries out share valuation work for both tax purposes, and in family matters such as divorce.
 
He is also an adviser on Stamp Duty Land Tax matters and is a member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group.

Sean McGinness, Partner

Sean leads our VAT team in our Northern Region, and is head of the firm’s Real Estate Group.
 
He has experience of advising in a range of sectors including property and construction where he regularly advises on land transactions, and commercial, residential and mixed use developments.
 
Sean advises a number of clients in the not-for-profit, retail, consumer products, and financial services sectors. He also advises widely in the conferencing sector, providing advice to venues and also businesses and charities hosting events in the UK and Europe.
 
Sean advises corporates, charities and landed estates on their VAT process and controls, including assisting with HMRC enquiries. He has also supported clients with HMRC risk reviews and assisting with the Senior Accounting Officer process.

David Posner joined Zeifmans in 2006, and became a partner in 2016. During that time, he’s amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in Canadian taxation in many industries, with a primary focus on real estate.
 
Known by his clients for his outgoing personality and optimistic outlook, David is a problem solver. He’s skilled at crafting results-oriented solutions that lie within the law, while being as creative as possible to maximize the benefit to the client. Regardless of the complexity of the situation, he seeks to help his clients weed through the red tape and reach the finish line in a practical manner.

Nathan is a member of the tax group at Zeifmans.  He specializes in Canadian corporate and personal tax and corporate reorganizations.  He also advises on cross border issues for non-resident corporations conducting business in Canada.  He has over 20 years of experience in taxation, auditing and accounting of public and small to medium sized businesses.
